Show Teachers Taking Active Part in Education Meets Several Springville High School faculty members are performing important roles in current education conventions. In the recent Tri-state Administrators Ad-ministrators Conference, high schoop Principal Paul K. Walker Wal-ker presented several proposed changes in the requirements for accrediting secondary schools. Principal Walker did this in behalf of the Northwest Accrediting Association as he is a member of the three man committee that represents the secondary schools of this state. In the annual U. E. A. Convention Con-vention being held , this week Harold Bartlett, chairman of the Springville high school social so-cial studies department and past president of the State Secondary Section of the U. E. A., will be acting as nominating nomi-nating chairman for the new officers. The high school A Cappellal Choir directed by Glenn . A. Montague will - be the featured performing group at the final general session of the U. E. A. Saturday morning in the assembly as-sembly hall at Temple Square. This is the first time the choir has had the honor of representing represent-ing the State Music Educators at these meetings. |
