Show Citizens Invited To Hear Talk By Vice President Utahns will have an opportunity oppor-tunity to see and hear Vice President Richard M. Nixon in person when he visits the State this week. This evening he will be in Salt Lake City and Friday morning in Provo. His official schedule as released re-leased by Thomas G. Judd, GOP State Chairman, is as follows: fol-lows: Thursday 6 p.m. Arrival Ar-rival by chartered commercial plane at Salt Lake Airport. 6:20 p.m. Conference at LDS Church offices. 6:30 p.m. Press conferences, seperately, by the Vice President and Mrs. Nixon at the Hotel Utah. A Republican State Rally will begin at 8:15 p.m. at the Rainbow Randevu with Charles E. Peterson, Master of Ceremonies. Cere-monies. The Nixons will leave the Hotel Utah at 8:35 p.m. to attend the Rally. Senator and Mrs. Arthur V. Watkins, Congressman and Mrs. William A. Dawson, Congressman and Mrs. Henry Aldous Dixon, other Republican Party leaders and State and local officials and dignitaries, will accompany the Nixons from the Hotel to the Rally. At 9 p.m. a live broadcast over Station KTVT (channel 4 Salt Lake City) will feature the Vice President. Intermoun-tain Intermoun-tain Net work stations will carry the Nixon broadcast also. Friday At 8:45 the Nixons Nix-ons will leave Salt Lake airport air-port for Provo. At 10:00 a.m. the Vice President will speak at a public meeting, including the Student Body of Brigham Young University, at the Campus. Cam-pus. About 12 noon the Nixons will leave by air from Provo for Casper, Wyoming. |
