Mrs. Inez Harmer hosted the members of the Needle Craft Club at her home Thursday where a beautiful star quilt ' was made. Luncheon was ser ved at noon to fifteen members by the hostess assisted by Martha Mar-tha Whiting, Belva Wentz and Senate Mendenhall. Wednesday evening several friends and neighbors were in to help quilt. Among them were Mrs. Lucy Roundy, Nordika Barker, Alga Mackley, Jennie Tew, Bird Nielson, Martha Whiting and the hostess. Mrs. Inez Harmer and Mrs. Helen Harmer of Mapleton accompanied by Mrs. Berniece Woffinden of Benjamin attended attend-ed a bridal shower given in honor of Venetta Mackley at the home of her brother Dr. Eldon Mackley of Provo Friday Fri-day evening. Venetta, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Spencer Mackley, Mack-ley, formerly of Mapleton, plans to marry William H. Cooper Coo-per of Logandale, Nevada on Friday, December 19 in the Salt Lake Temple. Recent visitors at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Whiting have been Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jensen and two boys of Blackfoot, Idaho. While here they were honored guests at a Sunday dinner at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Jo-seph Wiscombe. Other guests included Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Anderson and family of Orem, Mr. and Mrs. David Miner and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Don Blanchard and family of Springville and Mr. and Mrs. Whiting of Mapleton. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Loosli and three children, Shawna, Barry and Jeff of Richfield have been recent house guests of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. John Spencer. Spen-cer. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Plumlee and two children of Salt Lake City were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ermel Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Georgia Plumlee. A social day was spent at the home of Mrs. Ethel Jensen Jen-sen Wednesday when her sewing sew-ing club met at her home for a quilting.
