Farewell Sunday For Missionary Going to Canada A farewell testimonial will be held in the Twelfth ward Sunday evening, for Elder Robert Ro-bert Douglas Hutchings, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert S. Hutch- ings, who is leaving soon to fill an LDS mission in Western Canada. The program will be held at 7 p.m., and all members of his ward and friends are invited. He enters the mission home on September 8. Lorraine Taylor will give prelude and postlude music for the farewell. The opening song by the - congregation , will be, 'We Thank Thee O God for a Prophet," with the opening prayer by Wendell Hall. Mrs. Frances Clark will give a vocal solo and Brent Packard, Pack-ard, a trumpet solo. Speakers will be Bishop Ruel E. Crandall, President Ernest A. Strong, Bishop DelMoine Christensen with . remarks by the parents and response by the missionary. The closing song will be, "God Be With You 'till We Meet Again," with the closing prayer by Bernell Loveridge. Elder Hutchings is a former student of the Brigham Young University. |
