Broadhead and Miss Annie Carter of Nephi, will be married in the Manti Temple on the 23rd inst. The groom is the youngest brother of Mr. W. G. Broadhead of this city. For the musical contest at Eph-raim Eph-raim on Dec. 20th, the Rio Grande Western Ry. will make a rate of one single fare 30c from Manti for the round trip. Tickets on sale Dec. 19 and 20, good for return re-turn until Dec. 21. At the next meeting of the State Board of Pardons a petition will be presented asking for a parole for Parian McFarlane, sent to the pen some twelve years ago from Manti for the killing of Golding and Hansen. Lund, assisted by an efficient company of artists, will give a piano recital, supplemented by a dramatic and vocal entertainment, entertain-ment, in the Tabernacle next Friday Fri-day evening, Dec. 19th. " Prof. Lund is stronger than ever, and Miss Nelke is always pleasing. The Misses Vorhees and Madsen will each render a soprano solo. Mr. Clare Reid will be the accompanist accom-panist and pianist. Messrs. Acord and Andelin will appear in duets, quartettes, etc. Reserved seats are on sale at the drug store and Fik-stad's Fik-stad's store, and cost oOcts. each. The general admission is 35c. The Schubert Symphony Club and Lady Quartette company will appear at the opera house on next Wednesday evening, Dec. 24th. These musicians come highly recommended rec-ommended and will give a rare musical entertainment. The program pro-gram will consist of lady quartettes, mandolin and guitar selections, violin and vocal solos, and amusing amus-ing readings.
