Show Orange Marmalade Two quarts nice apples any kind one lemon two cupfuls sugar six naval oranges one tablespoonful brand First cook jour apples and lemon sliced as If for apple sauce Have it thick and put It through your flour sieve to strain It Now cut oranges or-anges In halves and scoop out pulp Put pulp In strained sauce Now put skins on to boll until tender When done throw water away and when cool cut jour skins one inch long and as narrow as you can Add to strained sauce and cook about 20 minutes Remove from stove add brandy and put In glasses |
