Show SALT LAKE MARINE REPORTED TO HAVE REACHED U. S. PORT : Sergeant David P. Ipson. son of X. P. Ipson of the state land board, lias arrived in the United States from overseas, according ac-cording to information received by his ,.m-- lather. Sergeant In- t to fl it" t I r - Ti I - is David P. Ipson. son is row at Camp Mills, N. J., and hopes to be mustered mus-tered out and return re-turn to Utah in the near future. The younej man , enlisted in the rna-i rna-i rine corps, combat : department, in May, : 1:17, shortly after the declaration of war. Later he was rejected on account of impaired vision, and was then trans-rerred trans-rerred to the paymaster's pay-master's depart- ment. He was sent to France, arriving there on Christmas day, 111 7, and was assigned to the department of war risk , insurance. Most of the time while he was overseas Sergeant Ipson was stationed sta-tioned in Paris. |
