The occupation of Budapest by Rumania Ru-mania a troops despite the orders from the supreme council of the allied powers pow-ers in Paris halting military operations agaiuat the Hungarians following the overthrow of the Eela Kun government complicates a situation already little short of chaotic. It is apparent, however, how-ever, that the allied powers are bending bend-ing all efforts to adjustment as speedily as possible, realizing the dangers existing exist-ing in the diverse national interests now being given play. The reported advance of troops of the Szegedin government gov-ernment indicates an intention on the part of the anti-bolshevist elements, mainly bourgeois and peasant, to have a hand in setting up the new and permanent per-manent government of Hungary. Rumania's Ru-mania's interest must be regarded aa chiefly to make sure that the Hungarians Hunga-rians are rendered impotent in a military mili-tary sense. Any other explanation of Rumania's course would be premised on dangerous grounds, since at is unthinkable unthink-able that any territorial aggressions Rumania might secretly cherish would be tolerated for a moment by the allied powers.
