Lucy Gates, Utah soloist, will sing two numbers at the league of nations meeting at the tabernacle tonight when Major J. Tho program follows: Opening number, selection by Sweeten's band; Invocation, In-vocation, Apostle David O. McKay; solo, "Thou Charming Bird," from the "Pearl of Brazil," by Lucy Gates, and "America for Me," written by Henry Van Dyke; address, Major Clark; "Star Spangled Banner," in which the audience, led by Anton C. Lund, choir leader, is Invited to Join. The closing number will be plnyed by Sweeten's band. Tlie committee of forty-five appointed by Bishop Nibley is to be on the platform plat-form at the front of the tabernacle. |
