Show PERSHING AWARDS SERVICE MEDALS WASHINGTON". April 16. The awarding award-ing hy General Pershing of distinguished service medals to twenty-nine ofiicers of the American expeditionary forces "for exceptionally meritorious and distinguished distin-guished services" was announced today by the war department. Citations accompanying accom-panying the awards give instances of ability in leadership displayed by the officers. offi-cers. Two of the officers Lieutenant Colonel J. G. B. Lamnert and Hiram J.
