Show SERVICES ARE HELD FOR PIONEER WOMAN Special to The Tribune. GRANTS VI LLE. March 31. The funeral funer-al uf Mrs. Sarah E. Orr. a pioneer resident resi-dent of Grantsville. was held from the First ward chapel Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, with B;shnp Richard Jeriorscu oi the First ward in charge of the services. The speakers were Thomas Williams, former for-mer Bishop A. K. Anderson and Bishop Richard Jeft'eries. J. R. Clark offered the opening prayer and Patriarch B. F. Barrus pronounced the benediction. The grave yas t dedicated by v. K. Soelberg and music was furnished by the combined choirs of the two wards. Mrs. Orr was born February 21, 1S4C, in Burke county, Pennsylvania, and came to Utah in 1S53. She had resided in Grantsville Grants-ville since coming to Utah. She was married mar-ried in Grantsville in 1S3 to Robert Orr and was the mother of nine children, five of whom survive her. They are Mrs. Sarah E. Bringhurst of Bennion ward. Salt Lake county; Robert H. Orr of Delta; Mrs. J. H. Palmer of Abraham ; Mrs. Rowberry and James Orr, both of Grantsville.- She also is survived by twenty-one grandchildren grandchil-dren and five feffeat-grandchildren. |
