BIG CLASS INITIATED AT MASONIC REUNION Hundreds of Members Attend Thirty-first Thirty-first Conference of A. and A S. of F. at Local Temple. Attended by hundreds of Masons from near and far, the thirty-first reunion re-union of Ancient and Accepted Scottish Scot-tish Rite of Freemasonry opened yesterday yes-terday morning at the Salt Lake Masonic Ma-sonic temple. The ceremonies opened at 9:30 a. m. with work in the lodge of Perfection, with Dana Tyrrell Smith master in charge. The class presented for initiation initia-tion in theigher degrees of Masonry was one of' the largest gathered for a Scottish Bite reunion of Salt Lake consistory. con-sistory. Beginning the work of the day a reception re-ception for candidates and visitors was held at 9 o'clock, this being followed fol-lowed by a special meeting of Jordan lodge of Perfection. The fourth degree de-gree was exemplified by members from Ogden. The fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth degrees were worked up to noon, when luncheon was served. During Dur-ing the afternoon, beginning at 2 o'clock, the remainder of the fourteen degreed of the Perfection lodge were conferred. Lunch was served at 10 p. m. "Under the direction of Harry Nathaniel Na-thaniel Mayo, degrees in the Rose Croix chapter are to be exemplified today, beginning at 9:30.
