Show ASK POSTMASTERS TO AID IN RECRUITING Tlie local branch of the U. S. marine recruiting service, of which Captain A. McC. Itobbins is the head, is sending the following letter lo postmasters fn the territory ter-ritory covered by the Salt Lake office. As officer in charge of the marina recruiting- district of Utah, I am vury anxious to secure your co-operation in obtaining applicants for the marine corps. Tho marine corps still needs 30,000 men, and, as you undoubtedly know, the regulations provide that poet-m poet-m alters shall rereive $5 for each applicant ap-plicant secured through their efforts who is accented for enlistment at the recruit depot. Postmaster recruitirur is carried on extensively and with great success In every other district in the United States. The actual work involved Is very timall compared with the patriotic; patri-otic; service rendered this country in time of need. |
