Show PAY FINAL TRIBUTE TO P. W. MADSEN, JR. Scores of the friends of Peter W. Mad-sen, Mad-sen, Jr., attended the funeral of the ! young man. which was held prom the family home, Cli liust First Smith street, yesterday at mum. Tim body lay in state from 11 until 12 o'clock, after which the funeral cortege moved to the City cemetery, ceme-tery, where the burial service of the Mormon church was conducted by Bishop Wi 1 1 ia m A rmst rong. Pra yer was offered by Henry Coutam. and a solo was sung by Hvrum Olson. At the cemetery there was a large gathering gath-ering of friends of the family. The speakers were (.Vilnnel M. M. H. Lund. AndnMv Jensen. John Knight and Bishop Arms! rong. Mr. Jensen spoke feelingly of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Madsen, pu rents of the young man whom death had claimed so suddenly, and extended to them sympathy in the hour of their be-rcftwiiicnl. be-rcftwiiicnl. Mr. Armstrong followed with a eulARy. Mr. Knight expressed the deepest deep-est sympathy for the bereaved wife of tb young man. who ha.! linked her life with his scarcely more than three months ago. The grave was dedicated bv James Godfrey. A wealth of (lowers gave mute evidence of the grief which was felt by the many who had known the young man ami completely covered the grave after Interment. The pallbearers were Otis Croft. James Ingebretsen, Harvey Peterson. Milton Shu ins. W. K. 'on lam ami J. Rogers. |
