Three cousins who joined the American forces soon after war was declared are: Corporal Clarence Smith, son of Mrs. Kmm;i Smith, Salt Dake; Arthur Mathews, son of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. Perry, Salt Lake, and Percy Butcher, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. .Butcher, ir0 Lowell boulevard, Salt Lake City. Private Mathews, an auto driver in the American forces, has been in France several weeks. Percy Butcher is a member of a naval crew employed in guarding the American coast line. Corporal Cor-poral Clarence Smith is now at Camp Smith awaiting assignment for active service ser-vice overseas. HARVEY K. LE SUER. 40 " -I iSl fiill Harvey K. LeSuer, son of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Mr. I-eSuer, who is just 21 years old, enlisted enlist-ed June 29 last, after finishing the term at the West high school. |
