Show BINGHAM BOY HAS ARRIVED IN FRANCE Special to The Tribune. BINGHAM, May 16. Mrs. Dun Clays received word yesterday that her son, Vernon, had arrived safely in Prance. Vernon Clays was one of the Bingham -horn boys who enlisted In the Held artillery artil-lery n April, 1917, and was at rirst stationed sta-tioned al San Francisco. He was later transferred to Fort Bliss. Texas, and still later to Camp Greene, N. C. From there he went to an Atlantic port and then to France, where he arrived about three weeks agr. Mr. Clays is one of Blnphnm's old-timers, his father having: hav-ing: some here in the early "80s. His cousin. Charles Clays, is in ihe same regiment regi-ment with him. He also enlisted last year, but in the late summer. |
