Show SACKS LIKELY TO EE INTERNED HERE Suspect Taken Into Custody by Military Mili-tary Authorities at Vancouver Barracks. Frederick Sacks, alias Frederick Dalj-Icndorf, Dalj-Icndorf, who has served twenty-three years in various branches of the United Unit-ed States army, has been taken into custody by the military .authorities at Vancouver barracks, Wash., and maybe may-be sent to the intern camp at Fort Douglas to be held during the war, according ac-cording to information received from Portland. Sacks was on the reserve list of the coast artillery when the United Slates entered the war against Germany. After he had been called into the active ac-tive service he made it known that he objected to fighting against the Germans. Ger-mans. He told them that he was born in Hanover, Germany, and was a German Ger-man sympathizer. Sachs probably will bo discharged from the army and ordered or-dered interned, it is understood. |
