Show SOME FLOUR MILLS SEEK1 PROFITS Warning Issued by Food Administrator That A.ction Will Be Taken. NEW YORK, Oct. warning that action will be taken against a few flour mills ig the United States which are seeking to accumulate profits in excess of that indicated by the food administration, adminis-tration, where specific instances of such violation are discovered, was issued here tonight by the milling division of the administration. ad-ministration. Aside from these few infractions, in-fractions, the statement declared that James P. Bell, chairman of the division, is highly gratified with the "patience and cheerful co-operation" shown by the milling mill-ing trade at large in fulfilling the programme pro-gramme mapped out by the division. Reminding mill owners who have not i yet been apportioned supplies with which to operate that the division has been in i existence only three weeks, the statement admonishes them to be certain that they i have complied with the division's full di- ; rectlons, then remain patient with t le assurance as-surance that the organization machinery Is being perfected as rapidly as possible and their wants will be given attention before long. The advantage which will result once control of the mills has been established on a smoothly running basis, will more than offset any present inconveniences, incon-veniences, says the statement. |
