Show APPROVE OF PLANS ON ITALIAN FRONT British and Trench Staff OOfllcers Eo-turn Eo-turn From Trip of Inspection Inspec-tion Tliere. LONDON, April 7. The visit of H eral Robertson, chief of the British gen-eral gen-eral staff, accompanied by Geueral . Nivelle's chief of staff, to the Italian front, where they had conferences with General Cadorna, indicates the interest of all the allies iu that front. They declared themselves entirely satisfied with the dispositions made by Genera Cadorna, who now has immense im-mense stores of ammunition and reserves re-serves of men, and who personally expresses ex-presses the opinion that the attack directed di-rected against him will be on a greater scale than that of Verdun, although he is confident it will fail with equally great losses to the Austrian and German Ger-man armies. |
