Show BINGHAM RED LIGHT " DISTRICT UNDER FIRE Parks Murder, in Which Two Men and Woman Are Involved, Starts Agitation Agita-tion to Close Resorts. That Sheriff John S. Corless and the countv attorney may confer today with a view 'to closing the red light district in Bingham, following the murder of Thom as Parks, miner, there early Saturday morning, was the information given out last night when it was stated that the crime marked the second of the kind to be committed in the district in the last two weeks. Besides these two murders, a shooting affray also took place there within the last fortnight. It was learned that Louise Ball, the woman arrested with G. B. Sutton and J. C. Stitzer, and charged with being an accessory to the crime, is alleged to have provided the knife with which Sutton is said to have attacked Parks with fatal resul ts. Advices from Bingham indicated that the populace was considerably excited over the tragedies, and it' was said that a deputation would appear before the county commission today praying that the vice district be abolished. Certain citizens citi-zens declared that they had approached the authorities at Bingham, but they ignored ig-nored requests to close the resorts. |
