OCR Text	Show FULTON KNOCKS OUT COWLER IN THE FIRST NEW YORK, Jan. 9. Fred Fulton of Rochester, Minn., knocked out Tom Cowler Cow-ler of England in the first round of a ten -round match in Brooklyn tonight. Fulton weighed 21S pounds and Cowler 20S 14. Fulton did very effective work with his lft, scoring hooks and jabs to the face. CowK-r sent in several hard body blows land brought his right to the head three j times. Fulton, however, kept on the ag-: ag-: gn-ssive and with a left hook to the jaw floored Cowler for a count of six. The English heavyweight arose groggy and ; another left to the jaw ended the contest.
