Show SCHOOL IS TO GIVE FREE SCHOLARSHIPS Leaders in Relief Society Work Offered Unusual Opportunity in Home Economics. The Agricultural college of Utah has just completed arrangements whereby It will give free scholarships to those members mem-bers of the various relief societies of Utah who are. selected by the presiding stake relief society officers to act as leaders In home economics in their different dif-ferent 5takes. according to an announcement announce-ment just, made bv President E. G. Peterson. Peter-son. These leaders will enroll in the correspondence study department of the college free, and will carry on by regular regu-lar study assignments, supplemented by personal visits of members of the extension exten-sion division faculty, work in home economics eco-nomics designed to prepare them for leadership in their stakes in the solution of the many important problems centering center-ing in the home. Special schools will be held throughout the state for the benefit of these local leaders. Arrangements have already been made for schools of 'from one to two weeks' duration, to be held at Logan, Ogden, Og-den, Salina and Cedar City, while schools will also be held in Sanpete county. Utah county and elsewhere throughout the state. For the work thus completed by correspondence study. extension classes and special schools, it is the intention in-tention to give a certificate indicating the work done. It la expected that some seventy local leaders will thus be reached. Mrs. Jeanette A.
