Show LIONS CLUB STUDIES PARKING, TOURISTS A survey of all possible parking park-ing places and an attempt to interest in-terest transportation companies in stopping buses in Bingham's business district to allow tourists tour-ists to really see "the longest, most narrow Main street in thej world", was decided upon Tuesday Tues-day evening by Lions club members. mem-bers. A committee including J. William Wil-liam Grant, Joseph P. Scussel, C. A. Morley and Leland G. Bur-ress Bur-ress found that there is a total of 175 feet of parking space designated de-signated as "no parking" and 'truck zones" on Main street in the short business section. A report re-port was made to the city council coun-cil and the recommendation made that space for parking of 12 cars be removed from "no parking" and "truck zone" markings. Parking Park-ing space for tourist buses to stop each afternoon was also asked of the city council. At the regular council meeting Wednesday, Mayor Ed Johnson named Dale Johnston, councilman council-man in charge of streets, to make a survey of parking with the Lions club committee and report back at the next regular council meeting.
