At Prim, Lee received 415 votes and Hamilton "J43. Here tiie charge whh made that the commission'TR redislricted the eltv of Price, classifying the voters of cai'h dlBtrh-t in alphabetical order. Thowe from A to G. Inclusive, constituted the First district ; those Horn H to X the Second, Sec-ond, and those from O to 7. the Third. , Tho commissioners did not select the election elec-tion judges according lo this basis. Tho Judges for the First district were John i Matties, John I'orter and John II. Pace; for the Second J. H. Price. Soren Olson and J. A. Forsyth; for the Third district, CJeorga Faucett, Pdward Olson and George C. uckev. Only two of tho Judges of election elec-tion were eligible to vote in the districts in which tliev presided. It is further charged that the polling places for the three districts were all in tho samo room in the city hall and that Matt Gilmore acted aH registration agent for all three districts. The charges aver that these irregularities irregulari-ties are ample basis for disregarding the vote of these two towns and the counting of the vote of tnc rest of the county on the candidates, which procedure would result re-sult in the election of the contesmnm. |
