"WILMINGTON", Bel., March 12. j 1 Bernard Montvid today confessed to i having witnessed the murder of j the Eev. Joseph Zebria, priest , of the Lithuanian church at New Brit-lain, Brit-lain, Conn., and his housekeeper, February Febru-ary 8, according to Chief of Police Black and New Britain detectives. Peter Pe-ter Krakus and Montvid are in the workhouse here for the murder of a po-1 lieeman last Saturday. Krakus and Montvid were arrested last Saturday after a revolver fight in which Francis X. Tierney, a policeman, was killed and three other policemen and two citizens injured. When New England railroad and theater tickets were found in their possession, pos-session, the authorities suspected they j ! had something to do with the New Brit- 1 lain murders and the police of that city! j were notified. v j |
