Show Tintic Mining Note. Special to The Tribune. EUREKA, Nov. 7. Work on the new mill which is being constructed near Sliver Sli-ver City by the Tintic Milling company is being rushed. A larye force of steel workers, carpenters and machinists is being be-ing employed. George Dern, the manager of the new Tintic Milling company, was In the district dis-trict on a regular trip during the latter part of the week. Mr. Pern Is confident that the mill will be ready for operation shortly after the first or the coming year, Thomas Gasquin, operating In the Cow Hollow section of West Tintic, will shortly commence work on his mining claims In that district. Jackson McChrystal of Salt Lake, manager man-ager of the Gemini and Ridge & Valley mines, was In tho district during the early part of the week. Satisfactory results are being derived from the system of leasing, both to the lessees and mine operators, which the Chief Consolidated Mining companv ts now trying out. Ames and Brandt, who recently re-cently encountered some high-grade zinc ore in their block in this mine, shipped about ten carloadB of ore, on which U in said they cleared In the neighborhood of 510,000. Some ore of practically the same grade is being shipped bv Ames and Brandt is also being mined by William Wil-liam Hobbs.
