Show and daughters, Colleen and Patsy, Pat-sy, left Friday to visit relatives 10 days in Buena Vista, Colo. Mrs. K. O. Marceau and son, Wilfrid, of Winton, Wyo arrived Sunday to spend 10 days with Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Hess of Copperton. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bee and son, Jack, of Highland Boy, left Wednesday to visit until Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bee Jr. of Bakersfield, Cal. Mrs. Bee plans to remain in the California Cali-fornia city for a several weeks' visit. Mrs. Carl Curtis entertained the KSK club last Friday at her home. Seven members were present. pres-ent. Mrs. Emma Erickson of West Jordan is visiting her daughter, Mrs. A. J. Sorenson. O LOCALS From far away Anchorage, Alaska, Mr. and Mrs. James F. Darkle have heard from their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Hal Reherd and family formerly for-merly of Lark, that a boom has developed since the government began work on the air base there, with the population swelling at the rate of 400-500 per week. Mr. Reherd is in charge of a party of surveyors, employed by the government. Mrs. J. B. Myers of Erie, Pa., who is visiting in Salt Lake City, and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Kemp drove to Afton, Wyo., Saturday. Mr. Kemp returned home Sunday, Sun-day, while Mrs. Myers and Mrs. Kemp remained for a week's visit. Dr. J. Howard Rasmussen, beginning be-ginning July 1, became associated associat-ed with the Bingham Canyon hospital and clinic. Dr. Rasmus-sen Rasmus-sen is a graduate of Rush Medical college, Chicago, and interned at the Dee Memorial hospital in Ogden. Dr. and Mrs. Rasmussen Ras-mussen are making their home at the Miller apartments. Miss Leona Keeler of Beverley Hills, Cal., is a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Art Sorenson. Other visitors Independence day at the Sorenson Soren-son home included Mr, and Mrs. Ben Rich, Miss Louise Rogers, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Peterson, Miss Peggy Peterson and Art Peterson, Peter-son, all of Salt Lake City, and Robert Wallace of Midvale. Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Stringer and son, David, of San Francisco, were guests of Mrs. Stringer's nephew, Alvin Hall, and Mrs. Hall Saturday.
