Show SEVEN TROUGHS HAS KEY T0ES01CES Coalition Mine Looks Like a Greater Producer Now Than Ever Befqre. That the days of uncertainty for the Seven Troughs Coalition company arc over, and that the company faces the brightest part of that producer's history, are the encouraging statemetns made on Saturday by L. A. Friedman, the general manager of the company. For somo time past the Coalition company has been up against a very hard game In locating Its ore bodies below the great fault, and this has at last been accomplished on tho tenth level which Is bolow tho fault-Mr. fault-Mr. Friedman stated yesterday that tho vein which had provided much of the Coalition tonnage on the upper levels was faulted fully 100 feet Into the hanging wall country, and work dono as a result has brought a large ledgo to view which trends nearly at right angles to the original origi-nal vein. It seems that the old vein, when It struck thlsy new ledgo. altered Its course and Is found continuing within the same. There Is a ten-inch streak Of oro now In the face of tho drift, the averago value of which is S2000 gold por ton, while there Is ono foot of rock which averages over 5100 gold to the ton. Mr. Friedman states that tho Sovcn Troughs Coalition company Is going to have tho greatest mine yet, and thin will be possible through tho results now apparently ap-parently certain bolow the fault. The officials look forward with every confidence confi-dence to the results from now on. The company his Its mill In successful operation. opera-tion. The Seven Troughs camp, stated Mr. Friedman. Is doing a great deal of work, there being several companies besides the Coalition that arc employing a good force of miners, while thoro are Innumerable properties -with several men at work. That section Is a mighty poor placo for a man to loaf In, and It Is safo to say that all who are there are at work. At the last election the camp had over 160 voters, many who had not registered failed to vote, so the population of tho district Is approximately 200, and all are busy. |
