Show DULUTH OARSMEN WIN TWO FEATURE EVENTS ST. PAUL. Minn., July 18. Duluth oarsmen captured the two feature events of the first day's programme of the Northwestern International Rowing asso- j ciatlon's regatta, triumphing over the SI. Paul and Winnipeg clubs in the Junior 1 elght-oared event, and winning by three lengths the bantam four-oared race from crews representing Winnipeg. Kenora. Ont.. and St. Paul, which finished in the order named. D. Connollv of the Minnesota Rowing club of St. Paul won the junior single sculls from two Winnipeg opponents; the Winnipeg senior four defeated St. Paul, the only other entry, and the junior four was won easily by St. Paul. The races were over four and a half-mile half-mile course, except the senior four, which was one mile. The Winnipeg eight was weakened shortly before the race by the loss of Its stroke. IT. IT.
