consideration anat whereas provo city is in great need of a city hall and jail and da the public buildings of utah county in provo city are entirely inadequate to accommodate the of the county at present and it is impractical to make additions to said buildings without a large expenditure of public moneys in arranging rearranging re and remodeling said and thereby getting very little office room for the money expended and said county buildings are ample to accommodate all of the officers of provo ity for years to come and we are informed that utah county will consider a proposition pio position to sell all of said property to provo city and WHEREAS provo city baa sufficient sal estate net unimproved in the renter of said city that could be sold lor a aum in excess ot the amount that would be required to purchase said county buildings and around and atie bale of said city property would be a creat benefit to the business interests of the city uy enable ing the citizens to form a business center instead of baying the business strung ui for a mile or more on one bide of on street only and ilie said city is unable to make the nece aary public identa such as a city hall water they could be discussed and acain further postponed for two weeks and moved to amend to that effect mr elmer B jonea did not favor the purchasing of the court house as a city hall as the city would
