Show RECREATION AREA AIM0F LIONS At the regular semi-monthly meeting of the Lion's club held Tuesday evening at Italian-French Italian-French cafe. A discussion on the possibilities of making a recreation recrea-tion center at Picnic Flat in Dry Fork canyon was of principal interest. Art J. Sorenson, Joseph Scus-sel Scus-sel and L. G. Burress were named nam-ed as committee members to make plans. Several suggestions were made for improvement of the picnic ground, among them being to place several tables and stoves on the site and use of a bull-dozer to level off the flat, forming a good-sized softball diamond. di-amond. Because water is available avail-able at Picnic Flat, this site is favored for a recreation area. Next regular meeting of the Lions club will be at Sturm's cafe Tuesday, March 5. |
