N. Crawford. A series of tryouts for leading ioles "resulted in selection of the following cast: Hans (a young utch apprentice), Kay Nelson; Ienrick Van Oooster (the Burgomaster), Burgo-master), Dick Jones; Katinka (a pillage maiden), Darhl Rae Mitch-Ill; Mitch-Ill; Christina (a Dutch girl), El-jna El-jna Strelich; Aunt Anna (Christina's, (Chris-tina's, guardian), Kathleen Taylor; Tay-lor; Theophilus McSpindle (botany (bot-any Instructor), Harry Watkins; feed Baxter (American college student), Ray Pett; Dick Warden, War-den, (a fellow student), Grant jKickman. t: Choruses of Dutch villagers, American students, flower girls, fete, are made up of seventh, 'Eighth and ninth grade students. An array' of choruses builds the set-!jig set-!jig to a very fine evening of entertainment. The various junior high music classes have begun work on the choruses. The students cast ir leading roles will get down to some real drill during the next four ,'eeks. Date for the presentation presen-tation has been set for Friday, March 22, at the high school auditorium. . r |
