How-over, How-over, this is not the only pleasing song number in "A Stubborn Girl." Tho play Itself is a musical melange, composed of the creamy portions of one of the most successful musical comedies produced in years. From all accounts Francis Wilson's own comedy, "The Bachelor's Baby." appears ap-pears to be the biggest success this pop- 1 ular comedian has ever had. Love of a child, perforce, brings out all that Is ten-derest, ten-derest, purest and most unselfish In man, and is the theme Mr. Wilson used In tho construction of his play. Mr. Wilson, with almost the Identical company he has supporting him, played "The .Bachelor's Baby" for eight months last season in Xew York, where he mado a long run record at. the Criterion theater. Charles Frohman brings Mr. Wilson to the Salt Lake theater for an engagement of three nights, beginning next Monday. Blanche "Ring, who appears at tho Colonial Co-lonial for four nights beginning next Tuesday. Is one of the good fellows of the stage while she Is on the stage, and not a bad fellow of?, if ono can be permitted per-mitted to say so. Where good fcllowr ship reigns Is Miss Ring's kingdom, and she does more to dispel the gloom that sometimes gathers than a barbecue would in a famine.
