Show Highland Boy Katherine Valdei Miss Nell Wright of Salt Lake City and Miss Amy Cuthbert of Bingham were guests of the Queen Esther group last Thursday when it held its meeting at the home of Miss Anna Marie Muhar. Miss Wright remained an over niiiht guest at the Community House. Miss Lucille Montoya was in charge of the Worship Service and also favored the group with a harmonica solo. A picnic lunch climaxed the evening's entertainment entertain-ment with each one being served roasted marshmallows. weiners and other refreshments. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Ortego of Phoenix Thursday from Ogden were Mrs. Joseph De La Cruz and her young daughter. Carolyn. They are former residents of Phoenix. The first ami second grade story hour children had a dinner party Wednesday evening at the Community House which they prepared themselves under supervision super-vision of Miss Alice Virginia Brown. A special Mothers clay service has been planned for Sunday from seven until eight to be held at the Highland Boy Community House. Singing the praises to mother will be the two music clubs under direction of Miss Marie Ma-rie Button. Miss Alice Virginia Brown will be in charge of the service. There will be a joint P.-T.A. and school program held at the Highland Boy school auditorium Monday, May 13, at 7:30 p.m. Some entertaining numbers will be presented by the kindergarten kindergar-ten of the Highland Boy Community Com-munity House under direction of Miss Brown. Other features will include a "Weather Skit"; a "Local "Lo-cal School Broadcast": and comic movie reels. A small admission charge will be made to obtain funds for the summer playground lights and other vacation activities. activi-ties. O |
