The suit of Matt Mattson to recover $13000 damages for personal per-sonal injury from Bingham police po-lice officers and their bondsmen concluded with a jury verdict of no cause for action against A. J. Sorenson, chief of police, and William Mayne, policeman, but disagreement on the part of Oren Timothy, former policeman. Miss Florence Childs and Miss Bernice Blackburn entertained parents of their students at a tea and exhibit.' All sewing and art work completed in classes during the year were displayed. Nor-rine Nor-rine Vietti and Lucy Rawlings served. The Fish and Game association of Bingham Canyon, under direction di-rection of J. R. Mclntyre, vice president, were making plans for a Field day at Lagoon, May 24-25. An American Legion Junior Baseball schedule for the first half of 1930, had teams entered as follows: Highland Boy, Bingham, Bing-ham, Copperton, Copperfield, Frogtown and Lark. Mrs. J. D. Shilling entertained for her son, Jack, on his tenth birthday. There were 18 guests. |
