Show "AL" DUNLAP PASSES 10 THE OTHER SIDE Well-Known Salt Lake Man Dies at St. Mark's Hospital. Death claimed Albert (Al) Dunlap, for the past twenty-five years a. resident of Utah, Supdny morning, a few minuter, after A o'clock at St. Mark's hospital, following an Illness of more than two years. A complication resulting from rheumatism and chronic Blight's disease was the cause of death. The deceased was in his fifty-ninth year. Al" Dunlap. as he was familiarly known to n. host of old residents of Salt ,Lake. was born In Massachusetts. When quite a young man he came west, locating locat-ing tlrst in Colorado and later removing to Cheyenne, AVyo.. where he was for several years connected with Martin & Co. Coming to Salt Lake City about twcntv-tlvc years ago. Dunlap engaged In mining for some time and afterwards entered the employ of M. 15. Mulvey 4r Co. and was with the latter tlrm for about ten years. Six yea re ago Dunlap Dun-lap fell on an Icy pavement, fracturing Ills leg nnd otherwise Injuring himself 'and since that tlmo has practically been an Invalid Two years ago he went to Ploche, Nov.. to engage in business, but shortly afterwards was forced to return to Salt Lake on account of his falling health. He has been In a serious condition condi-tion for many months, but his remarkable remark-able vitality sustained him unlll Sunday morning. Mr. Dunlap. while engaged In the liquor business hero, made a host of friends on account of his kindly disposition and pleasing personality. The body Is at O'PonneU's undertaking establishment, where it will be held pending the completion of the funeral arrangements. The deceased Is survived sur-vived bv an uncle residing In Cheyenne, Wyo. |
