Show I JAIL VISITORS OBJECT TO SCREEN ON HYDE CELL K VNSAS CITY, Feb. 7. An opaque curtain about the cell of Dr. B. Clark Jiyde, in jail here under sentence to life Imprisonment for the murder of Thomas H. Swope, was ordered removed today by Joel Mayes, county marshal. With tho order ranvj the announcement that no more special favors would be shown to Hyde. The action follows many coin-paints coin-paints made to the marshal recently by visitors to the Jail. The curtain has f-hleldod the cell of Hyde from the curious curi-ous gaze since his incarceration nearly a year ago. Yesterday two dental college students who visited the jail to examine exam-ine tho teeth of the prisoners complained that when they peered over Dr. Hvde's shield the physician attempted to spit In |
