Woolley, Jr., of Salt Lake, arrived In tlie city last week from tho west, presumably to resume negotiations negotia-tions In some mining deals which the former had taken up with Now York people In his recent visit here. They refused to discuss their business mission mis-sion here. Speaking of mining conditions condi-tions in Utah, Ernest R. Woolloy said today that the mining situation was generally gen-erally favorable. "The Tlntlc mines aro maintaining their usual shipments and conditions are generally good in that camp. Tho silver-lead minis of the Big Cottonwood district are muklng substantial substan-tial progress and tho latter is coming to tho front n3 an important silver-lead producer." |
