Show TH0USAXDS ENJOY MUSIC AT TABERNACLE RECITAL The greatest audience that has ever witnessed an organ recital in tho tabernacle tab-ernacle gathered in that building Saturday Sat-urday at noon. Tho galleries were-crowded were-crowded bo3'ond their capacity of accommodation ac-commodation and the doors of the main floor were thrown open, and hundreds found scats there. The music was of the most delightful delight-ful character. Professor John J. Mc-(Jlcllan Mc-(Jlcllan at the organ rendered many selections se-lections of surpassing beauty. Included Includ-ed in the numbers was Batiste's Communion Com-munion in G, a composition which, indeed, in-deed, "hath charm to soothe the Savage Sav-age breast." The no less beautiful an-dantino, an-dantino, "To !My Wife." by Lemare, was given with exquisito effect. Tlio thrilling notes of tho Pilgrims' Chorus from "Tannhauser," by Wagner, an undying favorite, held the vast audience spellbound.
