was aaa for trial on october THE GRAND JURY REPORT 16 U S INDICT the grand jury came into court and reported sixteen indictments under V S laws and ons under territorial THE ADULTERY CASE the case of J B charged with adultery with his plural wife was brought up for trial yesterday morning D evans prosecuted and W H kin defended the first witness called was mrs caroline she testified that she waa the plural wife of defendant mar ried twelve years ago and had six chil dren defendant went to colorado on april alth 1887 she followed ten months later while there her youngest child was begotten she biad not lived with him in utah since march 1887 when the edmunds tucker law passed he ate hie meals at my house in a few weeks before he went to colorado defendant went to work ou the railroad at picton colorado she lived at gunnison sanpete county at present her husband had not visited her there since the birth of the child seven months ago she came to salt lake from colorado stayed there time of our return till april when defendant went to Colo husband stayed every night at my house before I 1 going to brooklyn caroline had not stayed at my house for three months alien caroline came
