Show THE IDAHO FALLS-FAIR: ITS MARKET DAY SALE Special to The Tribune. IDAHO FALLS, Aug. 22. The agricultural agri-cultural fair and racing meet under the auspices of the Idaho Falls "Boosters' club," which will bo held on September C, 7. 8 and 9, promises a grand success. Although only about three weeks 'ago was the final conclusion to have a fair this season, every one is working to see that It will be successful. The track which has been made the present season sea-son Is in good shape. Tho great market day sale of livestock live-stock which Is to take place on Wednesday. Wednes-day. August 31, Is a new thing In this country. It has been a great success In Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri. Letters Let-ters are being received from eastern stock dealers making Inquiries, and no doubt many of them will be present. At this sale no commission Is charged for the sale of any animal. Nearly 200 head of horses have already been listed for the sale. On Friday last a fire occurred at the settlement of Woodville about six miles south of town, in which the outbuildings and forty tons or bay was destroyed. The owner, air A. W. ICrolI, had recently bought the place and had moved Into it that day. Tho origin of the fire is a mystery. Mr. Scwell, who is In charge of the electric railroad, has just returned from the oast, and says that work 'is expected to start on the road within the next three weeks. |
