For 200 miles from Orovillc to Oakland the track was literal lined with people. It was unheard of, it was stupendous. Twenty separate stops were made, and tho'' bitf celebrations were at Marysvillc, Sacramento, Shu Lcandro, Livermore, Stockton, Nilcs and Oakland. At 7 a. in., at Mnrysvillc, the automobile containing five of (ho newspaper news-paper men missed the train and the chauffeur turned around and made a dash for Sacramento, fifty miles away. The .
