Show BINGHAM COURT REVENUESDOUBLE During 1939 the city coffers were enriched $1659 through fines and forfeitures levied in the justice of peace court. This is an increase of $514 over the $1145 collected in the same manner in 1938. Justice of Peace Alfred Henkel also reported this week that $1623 in fines and forfeitures was turned over to the county during 1939, a big increase over the $322 which went to the county from April, when he took office, to December 31, 1938. In 1939 total collected was $3582, over double the $1467 totaled to-taled in 1938. Reckless driving headed the list of law violations both in the city and county cases under his jurisdiction, Justice of the Peace Henkel reported, with 90 offenders offend-ers sentenced in the city court and 31 from the county docket. Driving without a license brought fines to 13 motorists in the county coun-ty and only two in the city.
