Show B.ILS. BAND STUDENTS TO PLAY IN CONCERT Eleven members have been chosen from the Bingham high school band to participate with Jordan, Murray, Granite, Cyprus high schools band students in a band concert to be given In the L. D. S. tabernacle in Salt Lake City on Saturday evening, January Janu-ary 13, it has been announced by Joel Jensen, music instructor at the Bingham high school. According to Mr. Jensen there will be four practices in a group for the students taking part before be-fore the concert. Those selected and the instruments they play from the Bingham high school are: Glen Draper, Weldon Caldwell, Cald-well, cornets; LaMar Draper, Cleo Groves, clarinets; Mildred Warner, french horn; Garth Ras-mnsspn Ras-mnsspn saxnnhrmp' Hnrrlrm Ram. sey, baritone horn; John Larick, snare drum; David Ireland, trombone; Kay Nelson, Dick Jones, bass horns. The band leader lea-der for the concert will be Marvin Mar-vin Strong, music supervisor of Granite district. -s |
