Show EXPERTS IN FARMING ELECT THEIR OFFICERS PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 17. As tho speakers 3"cstcrday of tho American Association of Farmers Institute Workers Work-ers dealt only in the larger and broader broad-er phases of the work, so today the papers pa-pers were confined almost wholly to the technical points. Neither the nominating committee, nor the committee on resolutions got down to work very early. In fact the nominating committee did not actually get started until after luncheon. The report of the nominating committee com-mittee was adopted this afternoon and the following officers elected: President G. A. Putnam, Toronto, Ontario. Vice-President A. M. Soule, Athens, Georgia. Sccrotar3"-Treasurer John Hamilton. Washington, D. C. ExecuLime committee W. F. Clarke, Berkeley, Cnl.; Vale Keyser. Lincoln, Neb.; and Franklin Dye. Trenton, N. J. |
