Ucyriolds. tho priest who was arrested here recently upon complaint of a cithcon alleging that licynolds had been enticing small boys to his homo. for immoral purposes, has during tho past few months had a most shameful career, and although turned frco by tho local police alter being closely questioned, it is thought probable prob-able that tho man wa3 more guilty thau tlto police could establish. Information received yestordav was to tho effect that Keynofds was arrested arrest-ed in Los Angeles on the charge of murdering a 15-year-old boy named Victor Vic-tor Lamar. Tho father ol tho boy attempted at-tempted to got n complaint out ngajnst the priest, hut was unsuccessful, a coroner's coro-ner's jury exonerating Reynolds. The Lamar boy's death occurred in a Los Angeles bathhouse. When arrested in this city Reynolds was talking to several small boys, and when questioned" at police headquarters tho priest claimed that ho had said nothing iiupropor to the lads. The three bo3's wore brought to the ofrioe of Chiff of Detectives Sheets, and in answer to questions relative to the conversation Reynolds had with them stated that nothing wrong was said to them. Reynolds, soon after his experience in this city, left Salt Lake, but the police po-lice aro acquainted with his whore-abouts. whore-abouts. Upon recoiving tho communication yesterday, which camo from Chicago, the police wired to Los Angeles to learn if Reynolds was wanted, and received a negative reply.
