Show BOUND HAND AND FOOT AND ROBBED BY PALS Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, Aug. 2 Last Thursday night David Klugman and Alexander Maycoff. whllo tramping along the railroad tracks near Wolls. Nov., "fell In" with two other knights of tho road, and together tho quartette decided to travel. When darkness dark-ness camo on, tho four tramps decided that they would mako their beds alongside along-side one of tho snowsheds along tho Southern Pacific tracks. All lay down to-gether, to-gether, but when Klugman and Maycoff awoke next morning they found they woro bound hand and foot and their companions com-panions of tho night before had departed. After working with the ropes which bound them for over an hour, thoy finally released themselves and then discovered that they had been "touched" by their newly-found companions. Arriving in Ogden Sunday morning, Klugman and Maycoff visited the "Jun-gies," "Jun-gies," which is tho homo of all wayfarers who pass through this city. Tho men who robbed them wero seen and a hasty trip was mado to the pollco station to securo the services of an officer In arresting the men. With Railroad Detectives Cordon nnd Shumuker. Pntrolman Crompton went to the "Jungles" and the two robbers were pointed out. When arrested they had In their possession two watches and pocket knives which Klugman and Maycoff May-coff promptly Identified as their property. The men wore taken to the pollco station sta-tion and booked on a chargo of highway robbery. They gave their names as R. F. Marvin and Ed Smith, The authorities at Wells, Nev., wlU bo notified of the arrest. |
