Show NORTH WEBER STAKE IS DULY ORGANIZED Special to Tho Tribuno. OGDEN, Aug. 2. Tho second of tho now stakes which were created from tho old Weber stake wa3 organized Sunday and will bo known hcrenfter as tho North Wobcr stake. Tho territory which Is embraced em-braced In tho now stake, is tho entire northwest soctlnn of the old Weber stake. Tho offlcors who havo been placod at tho head of tho new Btako are: JamoB Wothorspoon, president; John V. Bluth, first counaollor, and Francis Stratford, second counsellor; members of tho high council, Moroni Marriott, Samuel A. Blair, Henry A. Baker, William E. Van Dyke, Wllllah H. Holthurst, I. C. Brown. Goorgo H. Butler, Emll Blackmail, Haskell Shurt-llff, Shurt-llff, J. F. Barton, Lawronce Shurnor and Ilcnry W. Nelson; alternates, John C. Niol, EIHb H. King, Nathan S. Hawkes, John W. Carlson. Moroni Chugg and II. A. Anderson; high priests' quorum, Moroni S. Marriott. Tho counsellors wore not chosen. Patriarch, Ple:mant Green Taylor; stake clerk, David W. Evans; quorum of oldera, John Larson, E. A. Barnes, Joseph Hutchinson, Myron Wado, with others yet to bo selected. Two sessions of tho organization mooting moot-ing woro hold, morning and afternoon. A number of addresses wero delivered by prominent mombers of tho church at both sessions on general religious subjects. Thoso who spoko at the morning session woro Judge H. II. Rolapp, Apostlo D. O. McKay, Apo3tlo Richards, President C. F. Mlddleton. President U W. Shurtllff and Bishop John Watson. Tho speakers In tho afternoon woro tho three now presidents and Apostlo D. O. McKay. Both sessions woro held at tho Ogden tabernacle. |
