Show DEMOCRATS OF LATAH STRICTLY ANTI-MORMON Special to The Tribuno. BOISE, Ida., July 24. A dispatch from Moscow says the Democrats of Latah county, in convention yesterday, unanimously unani-mously passed anti-Mormon resolutions and came out strongly for state wide prohibition. A full anti-Mormon delegation delega-tion to tho Wallace convention was cho-1 cho-1 sen and tho utmost harmony prevailed. Leading Republicans here representing members of the party In the county, who claim to bo displeased trlth the work of the Republican county convention just held here, are dlllgontly working on a plan to unite with the Democrats of the county coun-ty and nominate a mixed ticket, with the legislative candidates favorable to tho candidncy of Senator Hey burn. These Republicans figure they can accomplish their purpose because the Jack-Mormons and their sympathizers here who call themselves Democrats arc no doubt willing will-ing to enter Into any combination to beat an nntl-Mormon candidate for United States .Senator. Tho real Democrats of Ada county will protest against any such action on the part of the Jacks and their allies, shoiild tbey devldc on such a course. |
