Justice 'Bischoff in the Supremo court todav decided that j receiving money as the result of a wln- nlng wager on a horse race Is not a crime. The Justice's decision as at first announced, appears to warrant the Interpretation In-terpretation that all Individual bolting was legal, but the full opinion as handed down shows that ho upholds that portion of the statute which prohibits and makes criminal tho business of receiving bets. I he case was that of Melville Collins, who had won and accepted money as a result of n bet. Tho Justice decided that In receiving this money Collins had not violated the law.
